Whistlestop’s Pasta ala Pobre

for the Best Fusion category

Restaurant profile

Known for being a cozy reminder that not everything in this world is out to get you, Whistlestop is a great place to relax and unwind after a hard day at work. However, since many branches are also open 24/7, it’s also a great place to start your day, should you ever feel anxious before coming in to the office. Serving all sorts of continental and Filipino favorites, it’s a true asset to any workforce or office nearby. For the authentic Filipino breakfast, have a taste of their Pasta ala Pobre which is tuyo, salted egg, tomato, and angel hair pasta in one plate. Yum!

The chain has numerous branches, but this one in particular is located at ELJCC Building, Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, South Triangle, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Jelly Beans over at Zomato has this to say about Whistlestop: “For me, Whistlestop is a nice quiet place to grab some lunch with my officemates. My particular favorite is the beef salpicao which may be served with either pasta or rice. The serving is really hearty and filling. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating.”

This pasta is available for only Php 200.
