History & Location

In the southeast of Luzon Island is the Bicol Peninsula and we zoom in to one of its municipalities in the province of Camarines Sur. Caramoan, in the Bicol Region, is a boasting island of 4,000 hectare limestone forest that is rich in diversity of flora and fauna.

Its stretch of white-sand beaches and clear blue waters offer various activities including kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving. A trek to the enchanted lagoon is also recommended where one milkfish of considerable size is found swimming and which locals thought to be guarding the place.

After seeing Caramoan’s white-sand beaches, serene lakes, coves, and its thriving marine life, one may also drive down south to the province of Albay, where Mt. Mayon is found. Drive way further down and one will find the province of Sorsogon, where chances of swimming with the gentle giant ‘whale shark’ could be experienced.

Just a great place to relax. Lot of great beaches and activities to enjoy. Caramoan is the best summer destination. Even if it's not summer, Caramoan is the great way to enjoy the water in a sunny weather. People are very friendly and very approachable. It's the top destination of every tourist both local and foreign. A must visit place in the Philippines. It's in everyone's bucket list! - Nick Pahati
